
Six Out of Ten Winners From VTHS
The students of Hedy Harris’ art class designed envelopes and entered them into the 2022 Graceful Envelope Contest (a nationwide contest sponsored by the Washington Calligraphers Guild). There were ten winners in the High School Division. Six of those winners were Valley Torah Girls Division students!

Pesach Booklet
Kudos to Rabbi Chaim Davidowitz’s ninth grade boys class for publishing a beautiful booklet of divrei Torah on Pesach.

Classes Moved Online
After two days of training, classes went live online today. The Girls Division has a complete schedule of classes. The Boys Division has shiurim from 9:30 – 11:00 and secular classes from 1:00 – 4:00. We even joined together with the rest of Klal Yisroel for Tehillim at 10:30.






Pilpul Shiur Today
Rabbi Stulberger gave a pilpul shiur (an in-depth Gemara class) to all the honors Gemara classes.




VTHS Seniors at Cedars-Sinai
Every week, our seniors travel to Cedars Sinai for a medical ethics class with Rabbi Jason Weiner.

First Night Seder of the Year
Forty boys joined with the rebbeim for our first Night Seder of the year. Night Seder started off right after regular school dismissal with a quick cookies and chocolate milk refresher. Then it was off to the beis medrash to learn in groups with rebbeim. Rabbi Biron gave a short wrap-up shiur and the boys were treated to an Orange Delight dinner. This week’s Night Seder was sponsored in memory of משה בן רחמים ז״ל.
SRO at Night Seder
The first voluntary night seder of the new semester was packed! Nearly 50 boys joined with their rebbeim to learn together after school. The evening concluded with dinner from Orange Delite.
New Girls Lab
Our state of the art Science Lab at our Girls campus was completed in August, just in time for the 2018-2019 school year.
Thanks to a grant received from Legacy Learning Labs and matching funds from our donors, we now have the space and the equipment necessary to offer our students cutting edge STEM experiences.
Satellite Sunday Debut
Sunday School took place in four satellite locations to day for the first time. Satellite locations were, Shaarey Zedek Congregation, Yavneh, Link Kollel and Mishkan HaTorah. Davening, breakfast and learning was available at each location.
