Valley Torah Takes Memphis
The Valley Torah Boys Varsity Basketball team beat Milken to win the championship of the Cooper Invitational Basketball Tournament in Memphis. Ryan Turell scored a tournament high 41 points to lead VTHS in the 61-58 win in overtime. Ryan was named MVP of the tournament.
VTHS Represents at the Maccabiah
Max Leibowitz, VTHS class of 2017, was the team captain of the USA 18U Basketball team in this years Maccabiah. Max leads team to a 5-0 record and the gold medal vs. Israel.

CIF Semifinals This Week!
We’ve made it to the CIF Basketball Semifinals! We will battle it out against Holy Martyrs Armenian HS on Motzaei Shabbos for a spot in the CIF 5AA Championship Game. The game begins at 8:30 PM this Saturday night (February 25) at Holy Martyrs in Encino. Come early to make sure you get a seat.
CIF Basketball Playoff Brackets 2016-2017
CIF released the brackets for this year’s playoffs. Valley Torah has a bye in the first round and will play the winner of a wild card match.

Milken Tournament
VTHS Varsity Basketball beat Milken 70-68 to grab third place in the tournament. Max Leibowitz and Ryan Turell were chosen to the All Tournament Team.
