The Simchas Beis Hashoiava was enjoyed by our alumni, community members, students and their fathers. There was leibidig dancing, pizza and a moving kumzitz led by Rabbi Moshe Samuels (’97) and Rabbi Josh Rubenstein (’98).

A very lengthy Gemara vocabulary word list was assigned to the Boys Division students over the Summer. They were tested on that list recently. The top scorers on that test were:
Ninth Grade: Maor Ben-Haroch & Samuel Forman
Tenth Grade: Yosef Yasmeh & Israel Goldenberg
Eleventh Grade: Elan Perchik & Tuvia Marks
Twelfth Grade: Yehuda Judah & Shahin Shahravan

AP Scholar
Nathaniel Cohen has been named an AP Scholar for having received a score of three or higher on at least three AP exams. Mazel tov!

Kinus Teshuva Scheduled
A Kinus Teshuva to be given by Rabbi Stulberger has been scheduled for this Monday, September 13, at 8:00 PM in the VTHS Boys Beis Medrash. The topic: Giving Forgiveness – Getting Forgiven.
Rabbi Z. Wallerstein

Rabbi George (’78) and Dr. Lisa (Loffman [’78]) Lintz were honored last night at Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim’s annual West Coast reception. They were feted for their community leadership and for their decades long support of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim.
