Mayer Fuchs (VTHS class of ’97) was spending Shabbos afternoon with his family in there apartment in Ramat Eshkol when there was an emphatic knock at the door. Their ninety year old neighbor is in her apartment and not responding – and there is smoke coming from her apartment!
