Purim Chagigah 5773
This year’s VTHS Purim Chagigah was once of the best ever! Nearly all the students participated together with many guests from throughout the city. A student Purim video contest was held (winners in another post) in addition to the music dancing and snacks. Once again, you can see from the pictures that at VTHS, Purim is 0% alcohol, but 100% simcha!

VTHS vs. Shalhevet
Valley Torah Varsity Basketball will be playing against Shalhevet this Wednesday February 20 at 8:30 PM in the CIF Championship quarterfinals game. The game will be played at Providence High School in Burbank.
100 Percent Simcha
Valley Torah’s Annual Purim Chagigah is well known to be 0% Alcohol but, 100% Simcha. All alumni and student of the Boys Division are welcome to join us to see for themselves this Saturday night at 10:00 PM. THe video below of last year’s chagigah will give you a sense of what our chagigah is like.
Purim Schedule
The megilah will be read at 6:50 this Motzai Shabbos. The chagiga will begin at 10:00 pm. Shacharis on Sunday will begin at 8:30. The mechitza will be up for all megilah readings.

VTHS Beats Oakwood in Final Seconds
The Valley Torah Varsity Basketball team beat Oakwood in the final seconds of the game and continue on in playoff contention. The next game will be against Shalhevet, day and time TBA.
The game was won by two free throws made by Adam Liberman with 3 seconds left in the game. See our Twitter feed below to get a glimpse of the exciting ending:
