After the #Epicaton to Yellowstone took Yosemite’s turn, it’s been nine years since we visited Yosemite. But, this #weekaton2025 was a winner of a trip. To quote one of the boys, “It was a 10 out of 10.”
The quickest way to enjoy the #weekaton with us is to watch the video below. After the video, you can keep on scrolling to get more details and more pictures.
We left Valley Torah early in the morning to be able to reach Bass Lake in time for the boating and tubing.

After Bass Lake, we boarded the buses again for the short ride to Tenaya Lodge, where we would be staying for the two nights. The next morning was the latest start of the trip (7:00 AM). We headed to Yosemite Valley where we stopped at the Tunnel Lookout, Bridalveil Falls and the trailhead to Vernal Falls – the highlight of our trip.

After a strenuous hike, a tasty dinner really hit the spot. Many of the boys joined us for a stirring kumzits. The next morning, we woke the boys at 6:00 AM for shacharis and an early departure for Kern River rafting. The rafting ended up being more exciting than some and bargained for, but everyone survived – and loved it (watch the end of the video above for the details).
