The mother-daughter (and sister/aunt) challah bake felt like an evening wrapped in warmth. Galit Horowitz of Lev LA guided us through the dough-making with such heart, and while the dough rose she shared her moving story of courage and bitachon that drew everyone in.
After, each person made a bracha on her dough, we all answered amen and took time to daven for one another and for ourselves.
The night ended with an impromptu kumzitz that filled us with a beautiful sense of connection and uplift.
Yasher Koach to our PTA Moms, Mrs. R. Solomon, Mrs. D. Warner, Mrs. M. Saghian, Mrs. E. Avrahamy, Mrs. D. Smilow and Mrs. R. Liberman for planning, shopping, hosting, and setting up the incredible event.
May all of our Tefilot be answered L’Ratzon.
