For many students and their parents, the first taste of Valley Torah High School came at the Annual Open House. At the Open House, the schools philosophy and ideals are shared; the curriculum is summarized; model lessons are given; and there is ample time for any questions to be asked.
If you were not able to join us for this year’s Open House. Do not fret. You are welcome to experience our Virtual Open House right now. Join us as we walk you through.
The spiritual core of Valley Torah High School is our Judaic Studies curriculum. Mrs. Shaindy Gross is the Girls Division Principal. Please watch below as she summarizes the Judaic Studies experience.
The Valley Torah High School Secular studies curriculum is a college-prep program that will prepare the students for any scholastic challenge. Mr. Randy Rutschman, our Secular Studies Principal, describes the program.
The Open House continues with refreshments and time for prospective parents and students to talk to the VTHS staff. I’m sorry that the virtual refreshments that we have to offer online are not quite as tasty. (Please feel free to take a moment to raid your pantry.) But, to get a taste of the discussions, you can read what one parent had to say (about the Boys Division Open House, but still applicable to the Girls Division):
The other night my wife and I participated in the age old tradition of the high school open house that many parents of 8th graders go through when searching for the right Jewish school for their child. However, this was not any open house. It was the open house at my alma mater, Valley Torah High School.
To say this open house was not the one I attended so many moons ago as a soon to be high school freshman would be an understatement.
