Boys Virtual Open House 2017

For many students and their parents, the first taste of Valley Torah High School came at the Annual Open House. At the Open House, the schools philosophy and ideals are shared; the curriculum is summarized; model lessons are given; and there is ample time for any questions to be asked.

If you were not able to join us for this year’s Open House. Do not fret. You are welcome to experience our Virtual Open House right now. Join us as we walk you through.

School Video

After a tour of the school, everyone took a seat in the Beis Medrash where the evening officially started with a video the explained the philosophy of the school.

Rabbi Stulberger introduced Rabbi Yisroel Semmel and Rabbi Chaim Davidowitz, our new Assistant Principals, who described the Torah studies program. Rabbi Stulberger then introduced Mr. Tomer Kleinman, General Studies Principal, who presented the secular studies program and clubs. The students and their parents went upstairs to the classrooms for model lessons.

Out Of Classroom

School is not just about reading, homework and tests. The VTHS rebbeim and teachers share a very special bond with our students. They spend many hours every year with the students out of the classroom. At an oneg Shabbos or a Shabbaton; at the Chanukah and Purim chagigot; and at the numerous special activities. After the model lessons, a video was presented that showed just a small part the VTHS Out of Classroom Experience.

Refreshments

The Open House continued with refreshments and time for prospective parents and students to talk to the VTHS staff. I’m sorry that the virtual refreshments that we have to offer online are not quite as tasty. (Please feel free to take a moment to raid your pantry.)
