Students at AIPAC
A letter we just received:
Dear Rabbi Stulberger, Mrs Gross and Mrs Allen,
Thank so much for everything you do. Your amazing work with the students really shined during the AIPAC conference. Ariel was very proud to tell every single leader the school she attends and how the school contributed to her Jewish identity. She was invited to a private lunch with Israel’s greatest leaders and even met Shimon Peres’s son. She also met Commander Yoav Galant, Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan, Israel’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Dani Dayan, Israeli Consul General, New York, Koftan Halabi, founder and Chairman of The Druze Veterans and Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Ron Dremer. Watching Ariel interacting at ease with these great leaders being proud of her Jewish identity and orthodox upbringing made me proud.
When Lizi was reading her Siddur a night before her exam because it relaxes her you know VTHS did a great job. When Ariel was asked during this conference in front of 200 people what is in her opinion the best way for the state of Israel to survive her answer was “through Torah and [religion] because if we lose our religion we lose everything, we will be lost as a nation. [Torah] is what keeps us together as a nation and what got us to this point.” The crowd cheered. As a parent it’s these small moments that you know that you choose the right school for your daughter.
Thank you for being our equal partner in raising our kids.
Warmest Regards,
Eti
Midwest Visit
Rabbi Stulberger served as the Scholar in Residence for the Missouri Torah Institute in St. Louis this past Shabbos. He met with the students, beis medrash, staff and community members. Rabbi Josh Bregman – a Valley Torah graduate and their Vice President of Development – was instrumental in arranging this trip.
