Third Business Networking Success
Over thirty participants – with backgrounds from healthcare to OSHA training – joined us for our third Networking Breakfast. The past events helped individuals find jobs and gain leads for their businesses. This event boasted a large contingent of doctors who can benefit from the networking experience. Dr. Joshua Penn, a cardiologist and entrepreneur, described how the recipe for success as a businessman is the same as for a successful Jew:
Firstly, learning – Just as a successful Jew must put in effort and diligence into his Torah learning, a business person must thoroughly learn the ins and outs of his business.
Secondly, davening – Just as we need to focus on our prayers to have proper kavanah, so too an entrepreneur more has a laser-like focus on his business.
