Back to School

Kinus Teshuva

Rabbi Mordechai Shifman (Head of School, Emek Hebrew Academy) and Rabbi Avrohom Stulberger (Dean & Rosh HaYeshiva, VTHS) will be speaking at a Kinus Teshuva Monday, September 9 in the VTHS Chandler Campus Beis Medrash. Program begins at 8:00 PM and Maariv will begin at 9:00 PM.

Car Pool Rules

The first day of school is tomorrow. The safety of our students is our number one concern — and it should be yours as well. With that in mind, please follow the following car pool rules:

Boys Division – All pick ups and drop-offs must be in the parking lot. No drop-offs on the street. NEVER DOUBLE PARK. See the Chandler Campus Traffic Map for details.

Girls Division – All pick ups and drop-offs in front of the building. NEVER DOUBLE PARK. See the Riverside Campus Traffic Map for details.

Team Building

As part of the Teacher’s Orientation, our staff participated in Team Building Exercises in Simi Valley. Here is a picture of the male staff members (the female staff members were camera shy).

Freshmen Bowling and Pizza

After today’s Orientation, the freshmen were treated to bowling (seems that none of them could beat Rabbi Grama’s score) and pizza. Everyone is looking forward to the first day of school on Wednesday.

Remember Your Loved Ones

One of the Valley Torah High School rabbis will say recite the yizkor prayer this Yom Kippur (and the other holidays of the year) in memory of your loved ones who have passed on. In the merit of your charity and our prayers, your departed loved ones will secure a higher place in heaven.
